From now until the 20th of November, you'll be able to play Bethesda's MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online completely free. The game moved away from a subscription model last year, however it's always been necessary to buy the game. For this extended Free Play Weekend, you won't even need to do that.
The game will be free to download and play on the PS4, Mac and PC, however Xbox One users will be getting a different free play weekend at a later day. There's no subscription needed and PS4 players won't need a PS Plus account either.
In celebration of the Free Play Weekend on PlayStation 4 Bethesda will offer discounts through November 24 across Europe on Crown Packs as well as all versions of the game, including The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited base game and The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition, which includes all four major DLC game packs: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood. PC will have a global sale on Steam only through November 28th.
